Elections This January 8th @ 6:30pm

Wondering what YOU can do to help Evergreen East? Become an involved member by joining our board and the volunteers behind the scenes. We have several volunteer positions open currently, elections will be in January for board members.

What does it take? We need our volunteers to have a level of commitment to help us fulfill our mission, Special skill sets are nice but not needed and depend on what you want to do.

7 Voting Board Positions, Voted in, Two year term, Have formal vote:

President (Available): Chief executive responsible for meeting club goals through leadership, delegation and direct action. Is also on the board of EMBA which holds monthly conference calls and occasional West-side meetings.

Vice President (Not Available): Alternate executive when the president is unavailable

Secretary (Not Available): Responsible for taking meeting notes and coordinating volunteers. Documents the votes and agenda that is to be put up for a vote to the board.  Primary outlet for media updates (Facebook, EE.org, OutThereMonthly, etc.).

Membership and Marketing Chair (Available): Responsible for managing and scheduling marketing meetings, fostering membership growth and expanding ways to improve our marketing messages through various outlets.

Treasurer (Not Available): Coordinates financial transaction records with EMBA.  Check and balance on incoming and outgoing money.  Gives financial report at mtg.

Education Coordinator (Not Available): Leads the education program. Coordinates volunteer instructor training and scheduling. Handles scheduling, communication, registration and curriculum for skills classes. (position filled)

Trail Committee Chair (Not Available): Leads the trail committee meetings and organizes the work to be distributed at various areas, the focus of this position is managing all things trail related.

Non-Board Positions, all volunteer

Trail Bosses (Available): (Riverside, Mt. Spokane, Saltese, & Beyond**): Point of contact and coordination for groups and individuals wishing to volunteer with the club for trail work and projects. Works with governmental and non-governmental agencies to legally coordinate activities in respective areas

Media Manager (Available):Primary outlet for media updates (Facebook, EE.org, OutThereMonthly, etc.).

Graphics (Available): Graphics creation and management.

Ride Coordinator (Available): Oversees group ride planning and scheduling. Works with Education for guide training.

Volunteer Coordinator (Available): Point of contact and coordination for groups and individuals wishing to volunteer with the club. Manages track it forward volunteer hours tracking app.

Sponsorship Coordinator (Available): Facilitates contributions of partnering organizations to help raise funds for the cause and manages those relationships. Works with marketing and events to bring a value proposition for our sponsors.

Event Coordinator (Not Available): Manages the execution, setup and volunteers for each event that we will be participating in throughout the year including Spokatopia, Great Outdoors and Bike Expo, Bike Swap Etc…

Newsletter Editor (Not Available): Produces newsletter to be emailed. Info is collated from web, social media and board. Goal is to communicate with ALL members especially those not on social media. Newsletter to go out monthly during riding season.
