Chris Conley
President (Board)

I was active with the Cold Creek mountain biker group (now the Evergreen Southwest chapter) and involved with really just about everything– working with land managers, advocacy, trail building, events, the works… Since I moved to Spokane, I’ve just been getting to know everyone and getting to know all the players in the local scene here. The timing felt right to step up into the chapter president role and I’m excited for this opportunity.

Excited to be on any kind of bike and ditches the car for the commute. Leads the charge in positivity and stoke around all things mountain biking. Bridges the gap between the knar and everyday rider, an advocate for the sport in its purest form and passionate about keeping the community involved at all levels.

The Great Outdoors is where I belong, trail running, mountain biking, gravel riding, hiking, floating the river, you name it. I love that little brown path into the woods, especially when it’s got some punchy climbs, tricky rocks, and slick roots.

Retired and escaped from the wetside in 2015 to Ride, Ride, Ride, (and do some trail work)! I’m passionate about riding and racing mountain and fat bikes all over the country. When I’m not doing that you will probably find me working on trails, grooming snow for fat biking in the winter, hiking, nordic skiing, or snowshoeing. I also enjoy being a part of the Evergreen East Team which has given me the opportunity to give back to my favorite sport, stay engaged, and mentor newer riders. As well as keep my favorite nickname Turbogeezer

Melinda DuPree

Melinda is an outdoor enthusiast and adventurer who began mountain biking after college. Getting outside to bike, hike, ski, snowshoe or just hang out and enjoy nature makes for a great day. After recently retiring she has come home to the mountains, trails and lakes of the Pacific Northwest and is excited to serve the mountain biking community in Eastern Washington.

I was born on an apple orchard in Selah Washington, I took to the Yakima desert scouring for random cliff senders and building jumps made of apple bins and quasi North Shore janky log rides. After I graduated college from EWU, I moved to Spokane for its abundance of mountainous loam. I enjoy technical trails with roots, rocks, and drops. Some other names LuchaDan, Danimal, DirtyDiDana ok well that last one is a stretch.

Enjoys getting out exploring, working on the trails and coordinating with land managers. Shreds with the best of them, be it enduro hard tail or full squish…  You get the picture.
