Parks Staff is working with Evergreen to complete the final trail completion punch list, review, and approval tasks, including an official trail walkthrough with Parks and Evergreen staff next week. This is typical for the opening of any new trails, but was not completed last fall. Once the walk-through is complete and the team has a good sense of any remaining items as well as any routine maintenance needs that must be addressed, a trail-opening plan will be shared. A few punch list items and tread repairs have already been completed, and the hope is to reopen the trail soon. The team expects the trail opening plan and timeframe to be posted shortly after the walkthrough.
